I have little experience in the garden. No one in my family has grown any of the food they eat. Most of the time I eat home cooked meals or I will go to a restaurant. It is important to grow some foods you eat because many of the foods we eat now are processed, which means that all these different companies are adding all these preservatives and things to it. When you grow own your food it’s natural and clean so there is nothing being added to it.
I'm especially looking forward to working on the heritage bed. I plan to go home and talk to my family and learn about my ancestry, gain information and then express it through the heritage bed. I'm also excited to add new vegetables and herbs to the bed.
