The Garden Expands

It has been about a week already since I last checked in on the progress in the garden. There have been a lot of things that have changed in the garden, such as the Heritage Garden, which is starting to look good. There is a lot of cleared ground and there are numerous amounts of weeds that we've pulled up that were growing in the ground. Not only did the Heritage Garden take a lot of time to develop into something that we wanted it to look like, but it also is a symbol that we're trying to create for the community. Ms. Kali and the rest of my peers along with Mr. Corcoran have also played a large tribute in helping to change this whole thing around so that the Heritage garden stands out when people drive by the garden in the morning and evenings.

The weather, on the other hand, has not been a friend of ours because it has always been extremely hot. We've worked in almost scorching hot conditions from almost 90 to 100 degree weather. Although we go out before it gets too hot, we work on the things that need the most attention. In this case, I must say that the BEFORE & AFTER of this garden will be extraordinarily clean, and shaped up into what we've been working hard, and in hot weather for this summer.
