...In the Garden!

Another day in the garden! Today we did not spend too much time in the garden. It rained overnight which was awesome for the well-being of the plants but it was really muddy. We did not do a lot. During week one we were all paired up and was assigned to a bed. I was paired with Kadeejah. In our bed are a hot pepper, butter squash, eggplant, okra, pepper, and corn, tomatoes, beans, basil, and zinnia flowers. Today we observed those plants which have grown tremendously. We also observed the plants that will grow in our heritage garden. We were all surprised by the result. The plants are growing so fast. Lastly, we planted a few tomato plants.
I am so glad to be able to take advantage of this opportunity. I like gardening. This is really something new and different for me but I don’t mind exploring and trying new things.
